LAW ENFORCEMENT and SECURITY PROFESSIONALS |
||||
|
As a security professional with years of real world security and bouncing experience at some of the rowdiest bars and clubs in DC and VA along with years of teaching martial arts and self defense to a WIDE RANGE of people including soccer moms, the elderly, college students, SWAT members, to army rangers, along with security personnel who work in clubs, bars, bodyguard, correctional facilities and general property
In that time working with so many different types of people in different positions and needs I’ve tailored my programs to meet each groups needs. A soccer mom or woman on the street is going to use different tactics than bouncer at a club, and a bodyguard is going to have different needs out on the street vs. a prison guard locked in with unpredictable inmates.
Each person has slightly different needs and abilities. A woman threatened on the street has every right to defend herself on the street using any amount of force to get home safely vs. a security professional (there is a big difference between a guy at a door and a pro) who's job it is to ensure everyone has a good night, as many problems as possible can be resolved with words and in case they can't be that the institution is protected against damage and lawsuits. The old days of cracking heads at every problem are over. There's no way of knowing who's going to be pulled in, and who is going to sue. In the case of a new business it's even more important that things be handled as politically as possible.
To ensure that I train Professionals in how to dissolve situations as quickly as possible weather it be verbal or physical, one person or many. How to use the environment to your advantage,
Ø How to operate effectively in crowded spaces Ø How to operate and control people in wide open spaces (aqua runners) Ø How to deal with multiple attackers Ø How to deal with weapons Ø How to deal with the angry enraged even the drunk Ø How to control anyone regardless of size Ø How to effectively restrain people Ø How to deal with the most common attacks Ø How to deal with being blindsided Ø How to stay on your feet Ø How to deal with firearms
